Community nurses

The district nursing team are all experienced and well qualified to assess the immediate and long term needs of patients and their families in the community. They can provide skilled nursing care and work closely with other healthcare professionals in the community to enhance the continuity of care. You can contact them by contacting the surgery.

Community midwife

Our community midwives work with the GPs to care for mothers before and after delivery. The midwives can be contacted by telephone on 01603 481222 or you can contact the practice.

Health visitor

Our health visitor is a member of the primary healthcare team, working alongside the doctors, nurses and surgery staff. The aim of her work is preventative care and she offers advice to families so that they may enjoy a healthy lifestyle and support during times of difficulty and stress. She runs child healthcare clinics, postnatal groups, parenting groups and more. She also sees families within their own homes.
