The practice is required to allocate all patients a named accountable GP. This GP has responsibility for the co-ordination of all appropriate services required under the contract and ensure they are delivered to each of their patients where required, based on the GP’s clinical judgement.
We have made every effort to make all patients aware of whom their named GP is. If you are still unsure who your named GP is, please ask reception.
Having a named GP does not prevent you seeing any other doctor in the practice. Your named GP will not be available at all times and if your needs are urgent, you may need to discuss them with an alternative doctor. All your records are available to every GP in the surgery.
This notice applies to all of our patients, including children. Patients over 75 have already been informed of their named GP.
