Heidi AI

Some of our GP’s may use Heidi AI during your consultation. This is an AI Medical Scribe designed to transcribe patient visits into clinical notes, fill out documents and dictate letters. Heidi allows our clinicians to spend more time interacting with patients and improving communication during consultations.

Important Update for Our Patients

We are pleased to announce that we will soon by moving from using Footfall to SystmConnect for our online services.

SystmConnect will provide a more streamlined and user-friendly experience for managing your healthcare needs including:

  • Submitting your requests online, in your own time
  • If you need an appointment, we will arrange one with you
  • Request fit notes and more via online consultations

* Transition Date: 29th September 2025 – the link to SystmConnect will be available on our website. 

* In preparation for this transition please note our online forms will not be available from 25th September – 28th September 2025.

Community nurses

The district nursing team are all experienced and well qualified to assess the immediate and long term needs of patients and their families in the community. They can provide skilled nursing care and work closely with other healthcare professionals in the community to enhance the continuity of care. You can contact them via SystmConnect.

Community midwife

Our community midwives work with the GPs to care for mothers before and after delivery. The midwives can be contacted by telephone on 01603 481222 or you via SystmConnect.

Health visitor

Our health visitor is a member of the primary healthcare team, working alongside the doctors, nurses and surgery staff. The aim of her work is preventative care and she offers advice to families so that they may enjoy a healthy lifestyle and support during times of difficulty and stress. She runs child healthcare clinics, postnatal groups, parenting groups and more. She also sees families within their own homes.

Community psychiatric nurses

Patients may be referred for this service following a consultation.

Social Prescriber

Social prescribing involves helping patients to improve their health, wellbeing, and social welfare by connecting them to community services which might be run by the council or a local charity.

Patients can arrange an appointment by contacting the surgery.
